What to Expect
Average Attendance
Though the number fluctuates, at present, you can expect us to have approximately 255 people in attendance on any given Sunday.
As You Enter the Sanctuary
Ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general questions. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go to an usher to request assistance.
During the Morning Service
We welcome our first-time guests. We won’t put you on the spot or call you to the front. We just ask that you fill out our “visitor’s card” and place it in the offering plate as it is passed, or take it to the welcome center after the service. This will help us keep a record of your visit with us. Please let us know if you wish to have an in-home visit from one of our pastors or deacon/elders.
Offerings
During the morning service, we do take an offering. From time to time we also take special offerings for various needs such as a benevolent fund for our church family as well as those in our community who have a need.

This is intended for those who call HCCC their home – so do not feel any obligation to give. As a first-time visitor to Hunters Creek Community Church, you are our guest. We don’t expect you to contribute to the offering unless you feel led to do so. Feel free to sit back and relax as the offering plate is passed.
What Should I Wear?
In case you are wondering, most people attend wearing business-casual attire. You will also see men in suits and ties, as well as some people wearing jeans. God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about; it’s not about the style of clothing we choose.
After the Service
Our pastor eagerly looks forward to meeting visitors, including you after the service. Additionally, we invite you to visit our Welcome Center for further information about our church and to have any questions you may have answered. Feel free to spend time getting to know our friendly and caring members and regular attendees, as they are adept at connecting with visitors. While our members are proactive in reaching out, we also encourage you to initiate interactions. Should you choose Hunters Creek as your new community, you'll soon find yourself reaching out to others, contributing to our atmosphere of warmth and care. Help us maintain our spirit of compassion by extending a hand to others during your initial visit.
When You Arrive
Once inside, you will be welcomed by our greeters who will direct you to the sanctuary as well as answer any questions you may have. In addition, they would be glad to arrange a brief tour of our facilities or a visit to any children or youth ministry classrooms that are of particular interest to you or your family.
Child Care
We provide a safe and comfortable nursery for infants from birth to age 3 years of age. They are cared for in a loving and secure environment by a wonderful team of volunteers. This enables parents to attend both, a worship service and Bible Fellowship on Sunday morning as well as our evening study time. The nursery also provides a private place for nursing mothers.

An electronic alert device will be given to you in case your child has a special need during the service.

The 3 & 4-year-olds (Preschool) have a class that goes from Sunday School hour, all the way through Worship Service. Early 5’s – 3rd grade (Primary) have Sunday School hour, then go into the sanctuary for the music portion and are dismissed for the remainder of the worship service to go to their Primary Church while you are attending the service in the sanctuary. On the last Sunday of the month, grades 4-6 also leave the sanctuary after the music and go to Junior Church.

Please know that you are more than welcome to keep your children with you during the morning service if you prefer.
Our Worship Service
At Hunter’s Creek Community Church (HCCC), we offer various opportunities for you to worship. Our Sunday School for children of all ages, along with our Adult Bible Fellowship classes begin at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. You’ll hear both current and traditional hymns, choir numbers as well as other special musical presentations under the leadership of Pastor Joel. In all of our worship services, our main focus is that you would come in and be a part of worshiping God, singing to the audience of one.
At 6 p.m. on Sundays, we have an evening service at which typically we will engage on a special topic, or have a discussion on the morning message.
How Far in Advance Should I Arrive?
Allow about 15 to 20 minutes, especially if you are checking children into their services.
Sunday School, Adult Fellowship classes and the evening service last about an hour. The morning service lasts about an hour and 15 minutes.
What is the Sermon Style?
We strive to teach the timeless truths of the Bible with clarity, humor and real-life application. Messages are biblical and relevant to today’s changing culture, but the message of the Gospel never changes.
